Abstract

Architecture and urban space go beyond satisfying functional, formal, technical or social needs, it is the space in which we are immersed in our daily lives, where spatial limits maintain a dialectical relationship with the human being. It is from this spatial experimentation that the effects generated go beyond any sensation, it is then that we go from an embodied experience to a somatosensory experience, from which we get emotional responses, but also physiological and behavioral ones, result. That is why being able to control these effects play an important role in improving the habitability of the space, since the design of the stimulus, that is, the design of the architectural or urban object will depend on the effect to be generated. It is here where Neuroarchitecture acquires relevance, since it is from its neuroscientific basis so strategies can be provided that contribute to the design process. Neuroarchitecture, Senses, Space, City Resumen La arquitectura y el espacio urbano van más allá de satisfacer necesidades funcionales, formales, técnicas o sociales, son los lugares en los que nos vemos sumergidos en nuestro día a día, en donde los límites espaciales mantienen una relación dialéctica con el ser humano. Es a partir de esa experimentación espacial, que se generan efectos que van más allá de una sensación, es entonces que vamos de una experiencia corporeizada a una experiencia somatosensorial, de lo cual, resultan respuestas emocionales, pero también fisiológicas y conductuales. Es por ello, que el poder conocer y controlar dichos efectos, juega un papel importante en la mejora de la habitabilidad del espacio, pues del diseño del estímulo, es decir, del diseño del objeto arquitectónico o urbano, dependerá el efecto a generar. Es aquí donde la Neuroarquitectura adquiere relevancia, pues es a partir de su base neurocientífica que se pueden aportar estrategias que coadyuven en el proceso de diseño. Estrategias para Mejorar la Habitabilidad del Espacio Público desde un Enfoque Neuroarquitectónico.

Abstract

In essence, this research project identifies, through an analysis, neuroarchitectural design strategies that can be applied in the intervention of public spaces. These strategies are intended to create sensitive stimuli through the perception, that are beneficial to improving people's physical and emotional state. Firstly, it does an analysis of the recognition of the spatial effects it has on habitability and therefore on the human., The emphasis is not a solely aesthetic issue, but that it alludes to a priority aspect that impacts the quality of life of a human. Additionally, the importance of Neuroarchitecture is recognized as a multidiscipline, that contains the essence of the solution, in the face of the loss of habitability conditions. Finally, with the application of a modeled methodology for this research, in which the strategies are identified from the analysis of the study site, the central square San Pedro Xalcaltzinco, Tepeyanco, Tlaxcala.

The epistemology of architecture as a discursive project logic La epistemología de la arquitectura como una lógica proyectual discursiva

Abstract

Facing the challenging task that the social and urban context of the city demands, as well as the latent competitiveness that exists in the professional life of an architect, the need arises to generate quality architectural objects that promote improvements in the construction of the City. However, this professional task depends in largely of the origin of the architect's training, which is co-dependent on the teaching-learning strategies under which each University is governed, that is why it is important to analyze in a multifactorial way, all those elements that have a wider impact in the formation of the architect. For this, it is proposed to make an analysis of how this discipline is taught and learned in the BUAP Faculty of Architecture, in comparison with a cross-sectional analysis of the educational axes of the main academic programs of International Universities that offer the career of architecture (Massachusetts Tech, USA; Oxford Brooks, UK.; AA, UK; Delft, NED), in order to understand how teaching is approached in these most recognized universities. In this way, it seeks to identify those strategies that improve the learning quality of the architectural design process, so that students are prepared for the challenges of professional life. So that these strategies can be applied both to the educational axes, as well as to the change of the line of reasoning that the faculty of architecture of the BUAP.
